Rich Vindigni is a 1969 graduate of Cornell University and a 1972 graduate of Fordham Law School. At Fordham Law School, Rich was a member of the Fordham Law Review and graduated on the Dean's List. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1973 and soon thereafter was admitted to the Federal Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of NY and the 2nd Circuit Appellate Division.
After graduation, Rich was employed by the New York City law firm of Cahill, Gordon & Reindel as an Associate, concentrating in antitrust and securities litigation and commercial law. In 1976, he served as Associate General Counsel with the Winchester Group of Olin Corp in southern Connecticut, where he handled issues involving commercial law, products liability and antitrust law.
Rich moved to Oneida in 1978 and was employed with the law firm of Dunn, Vindigni & Bruno; practicing for more than 22 years, principally in the areas of real estate, trusts and estates, business entities and commercial law. He is a founding member of the law firm of Vindigni & Betro, which was established in 2001.
Rich is a member of the Oneida Rotary Club, the Oneida Knights of Columbus, having served as Grand Knight, and is a past president of the Board of Advisors of the Oneida Salvation Army and a past member and president of the Sherrill-Kenwood Community Chest. Rich is also a member of the Madison County Bar Association and the NYS Bar Association and its Elder Law and Trusts and Estates section. Rich lives in Sherrill, New York with his wife, Joanne Baglio Vindigni, who is a native of Oneida. They have three daughters, Melissa, Michele, and Christina.
